Message from Director General, Indo-Tibetan Border Police
I am extremely happy to know that the Gujarat Police is hosting the "53rd All India Police Duty Meet - 2009", at Gandhinagar from 2nd to 9th February 2010.
The meet will provide an excellent opportunity to the officers and men of our police forces to test their professional skills and identify their shortcomings. The meet is also aimed at equipping the force personnel with knowledge of the best investigation methods.
Computer awareness, anti-sabotage checking, use of dog squads, police photography and scientific aids to investigation are subjects which are intrinsic to the profession of Police forces. Competing in these events is bound to upgrade standards of professional proficiency.
I am sure that this Meet will identify new talented officers and men who, in turn, would groom and encourage others to earn laurels for their respective police forces. On this occasion, I extend my best wishes to all the participants and the organizers and wish the Meet all success.
Shri Vikram Srivastava, IPS
Director General
Indo-Tibetan Border Police
