Message from Director General of Police, Assam
I am very happy to learn that the 53rd All India Police Duty Meet is being hosted by Gujarat Police at Gandhinagar the capital city of Gujarat from February 2 to February 9, 2010. Competitions in Scientific Aids to Investigation, Police Photography, Computer Awareness, Vediography, Anti – Sabotage check, Police Dog and Life Saving will be held in the meet and I hope that the policemen of the country will get ample scope to display their innovations and skills in various fields of police activity.
Duties of police have increased manifold now - a – days and such police duty meet will enrich the policemen in many ways and enable them to serve the nation better besides meeting new challenges with vigour.
I wish the Police Duty Meet a grand success.
