Message from Director General of Police, Gujarat
Gujarat Police has been privileged to host the 53rd All India Police Duty Meet, which will be organized at the Gujarat Police Academy, Karai, Gandhinagar from the 2nd of February to the 9th of February, 2010. This is the third time when we have been honored for hosting the Meet.
The Duty Meet offers an opportunity to the various Police and Paramilitary Forces of the country, an unique platform to showcase their professional competence in service delivery, mental toughness, esprit-de-corps and a healthy atmosphere of competition among various teams. It will be an occasion for various teams to assemble on one platform and exhibit skills at their command in a healthy and competitive environment. The All India Police Duty Meet provides an excellent forum to the participants of healthy competition but also exposing them to the latest developments in the field of scientific investigation of crime including videography, photography, computer awareness etc. The spirit, the will to win and the will to excel are the enduring qualities much more important than the event itself.
It is equally an opportunity for the host organization with rich traditions to live up to their organizational skills. I wish and hope that the Meet will be enjoyed thoroughly by both the victorious and the vanquished and shall go in the annals for its conducive atmosphere of camaraderie and bonhomie displayed by the participating teams.
Shri SS Khandwawala,IPS
Director General of Police
Gujarat
