Message from Director General of Police, Madhya Pradesh
I am happy to learn that Gujarat Police is hosting the 53rd All India Police Duty Meet - 2009 at Gandhinagar from 2nd February to 9th February, 2010.
Peace and security are essential for maintaining the momentum of growth and development of the Nation, so that the vision of a developed Nation by 2020 is achieved. The Police have an important role as partners in this mission.
Such activities not only help in inclucating a healthy spirit of competition and a sense of discipline amongst the participants, but also help in improving their physical as well as mental fitness. I am sure that this Duty Meet would provide and excellent opportunity to policement to prove their skills in various professional activities.
I wish the All India Duty Meet and all those associated with its organization the very best.
Shri S. K. Rout, IPS
Director General of Police
Madhya Pradesh
