Message from Director, Intelligence Bureau
I am glad to learn that the Gujarat Police is hosting the 53rd All India Police Duty Meet - 2009 at Gandhinagar (Gujarat) from February 02 to 09, 2010.
The demands on the police as an agency for law enforcement and internal security management have not only increased steadily over the years but also becoming more complex, challenging and multidimensional. The police force in the country, therefore have to continuously strive to improve their professional skills and keep abreast of the latest developments in the field of police science and technology. The All India Police Duty Meet provides an excellent forum for the participants to test and upgrade their professional skills in environments of healthy competition. The Welfare Seminar held along with the Meet offers an opportunity for exchange of information on various welfare measures which could be organized for police personnel and their families.
I wish the Meet, its organizers and participants all success.
Shri Rajiv Mathur
