Anti-Sabotage Check
Rules
- Only two competitors from each state/organisation will participate in the event
- Competitors should have served for more than one year in the Organisation/ Department as on date of competition.
- None of the participants should have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in Anti-Sabotage Check Competition during the preceding three years.
- After the practical test, the competitors are required to attend viva voice. The participants will sit in the earmarked place till they are called for viva. After that they will be required to assemble at event point for debriefing.
Equipment
Competitors should bring their own equipment, which should be in perfect working order. The organisers will provide no replacement.Following items are regarded as essentials:
a) Explosive detector
b) Mine Sweeper
c) Hand held metal detector
d) Non-linear junction detect
e) Search Light
f) Prodder
g) Mirror
Devices
Concealed devices includea) Real explosives
b) Dummy detonators
c) Power sources
d) Switch
Area of Search
Areas of search may be more than one and would include room/open lawn/VehicleProcedure
Each team would be allotted 20 minutes for conducting Anti-Sabotage Check.Viva Voice
The search will be followed by viva voiceMarks
Maximum marks would be 100 and they would be distributed under following heads.a) Procedure adopted for carrying out Anti-Sabotage checks
b) Number of devices detected
c) Identification of Explosive
d) Viva Voice
Judges for the Competition
A panel of three judges, whose decision would be final and binding on the participants in all matters, will judge competition.Medals and Trophies
There would be three individual medals for those scoring 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions. They would be awarded Gold, Silver and Bronze medals, respectively.There would be two trophies in the Anti-Sabotage Check event for competing teams, one Championship trophy and the other Runners up trophy. They would be awarded to the teams scoring the highest marks and 2nd highest marks, respectively.
General
All the participants should carry and wear Photo Identity Cards issued by the Organising Committee, All India Police Duty Meet.Participants should wear their working uniform during the Competition.
