Message from Chief Minister, Gujarat State
'POLICE' – a very important and most useful part of our society, has remained most abused one. The man in Khaki has remained a target of neglect and indifference.Although, the POLICE force by and large remains faithful to its duty and services, it has seldom received KIND WORDS – PRAISE… from the society as well as from the administration.
There are numerous examples where this very force during the time of natural or man-made accidents, calamities, etc. has shown COURAGE, PROMPTNESS, PREPAREDNESS, and has with exemplary attitude tried to help and rescue the persons in distress. Yet – this force remains neglected.
I am pleased to note that Gujarat Police is hosting 53rd All India Police Duty Meet at Gandhinagar from 2nd to 9th Feb. 2010.
